1985 MacGregor / Venture 25 foot Sailboat

I bought this boat for the trailer. However, it appears that no one wants the boat without the trailer or a motor. The trailer and motor it came with are now included. Someone put a lot of work into this boat but couldn't finish it! Must be seen to really appreciate it. The carpeting has been replaced with tongue and groove wood laminate on the ceiling with contrasting mahogany stained trim and padded vinyl on the aft bulkheads. The bright work (wood work) has been removed and refinished. Some fittings have been removed to be re-bedded. It appears it is all there. The forward hatch is being replaced with a smoked glass hatch to get more light into the cabin. Everything is ready to be put back on the boat. Main, jib and spinnaker with spinnaker pole. Sunbrella mainsail cover. Roller furling genoa with Sunbrella cover! Stainless steel transom ladder. Cockpit seat cushions. Excellent condition, original interior seat cushions with extra covers. Catalina 22 Sliding Galley with ice box, stainless steel sink with faucet and fresh water tank and two burner alcohol stove. Missing drawer and ice box lid. Head (porta potty). Cabin vent. Pop top enclosure in excellent but dirty condition. Original trailer with what looks to be fairly new tires and wheels. Hubs have Bearing Buddies. 15 HP Sea King / Chrysler long shaft outboard motor with tank. Engine looks very clean and even comes with its original box! I have not run it but it turns freely and has compression. There?s some room for negotiation. I have had several offers to part the boat out and may re-visit that option if it doesn?t sell and I decide not to complete the boat. Boat is located in Saint Clair Shores, MI.
