Overall condition of the 2005 Formula 280 SS is normal wear and tear. There were a few scratches on the Aquamarine Metallic hull. The bow area had holes filled where an anchor pulpit once resided. The foredeck and cockpit sole were in good condition with no soft spots, cracks or gouges found.
The cockpit upholstery was clean and in good condition with no tears, rips, or stitching issues found. Note that the aft top of the U-shape lounge back/sun pad was a little discolored.
The engines started without issue, all engine gauges were working with normal readings. The port outdrive trim gauge is non-functioning. The seller stated the speedometer is temperamental and works on/off (uses SOG function on GPS for speed). All other electronics including the depth gauge and GPS appeared to function normally. There was some oxidation on small parts of the front of the Volvo Penta engines. There was some water/oil mixture in the bilge that seller believes was left over from last marina servicing and is checking that out.
The cabin area was clean and in good shape. The upholstery and carpet were in good condition. The head was clean and functioning.
The cockpit cover appeared to be a replacement from original and is in good condition. The Bimini was in good condition. There is a second Bimini but the aluminum framing is not available. The camper sides, front and back were inspected and found to be in good condition (not used much). In order to use the full camper canvas new aluminum framing would have to be purchased/installed.
